Design
features that separate Airedale depth gauges from the rest
- Fully
printed linear dial with 300-degree scale. This gives a consistently
marked dial which ensures precise sub-divisions and accuracy of calibration
at all points on the scale. It also makes the dial clearer and easier
to read.
- Beryllium
copper tube. Proven and reliable beryllium copper bourdon tube pressure
element. Heat treated for repeatability and lasting precision.
- Ease
of re-calibration. The linear scale of the Airedale Gauge simplifies
re-calibration. (Other gauges with non-linear scales are very difficult
to re-calibrate because of the inconsistency of the markings.)
- Robust
precision movement. Test gauge quality with maximum and minimum
stops.
- Fully
balanced lightweight pointer. Gives increased responsiveness and
smooth indication of even the smallest changes in pressure.
- Value
of smallest division stated on dial. Minimising reading errors.
- Zero
adjustment at 3 o'clock. This minimises corrosion of the zero mechanism
occurring in other depth gauges which have adjustments at 6 o'clock.
- Zero
adjustment pinion runs in delrin bushes. Maintaining smooth running
and protecting the bezel from screwdriver scratching
- Light
and robust case. Finished with the latest powder coating methods.
